Greenery & Roller Skates: A Whimsical Styled Shoot at The Annex Minneapolis
Elegant creativity meets offbeat style at The Annex Minneapolis—an intimate event space that is quickly becoming a sought-after wedding venue in the Twin Cities. With its beautiful ambient lighting—even on rainy days—and an abundance of curated greenery lining its walls, I just can't seem to get enough of the welcoming atmosphere.
I absolutely adore the unique characteristics and quirks of The Annex—from the evocative leftover paint on its bricks that hints at the building’s storied past to the striking glass and metal lighting fixtures, the whimsically hand-drawn wallpaper, and the distinctive seating—especially the hanging swing!
I hope you enjoy the vibrant details, cultivated style, and high-energy editorial photography by me, at The Feisty Atelier. My aim with this styled shoot was to boldly push traditional boundaries by infusing the playful spirit of roller derby with modern wedding aesthetics—a sweet, offbeat combination that’s perfectly fitting for this cozy venue.
